News Entry: February 25th, 2008

We all know Mr. Depp was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Unfortunately, Johnny didn't take home the Oscar. The film, Sweeney Todd did however win an Oscar for its achievement in Art Direction, which is nice to hear!

Well, I'm sure we're all wishing him the best for the future. We all know who won in our books.

However, as far as awards go, Johnny Depp was honored with the Golden Globe Award for "Best Actor" for the same role!

The film also won the Golden Globe Award for "Best Musical Picture".


In other news...

Johnny Depp is now the godfather to Tim Burton's son, Billy!
